Our core business is structural engineering design within the built environment, which we supplement with timber engineering and underground drainage. Although we are technical designers, our focus is on people, whether it is the client, the end user, or other consultants. We enjoy working with others and understanding their needs.
Projects are delivered using Revit and typically within a BIM Level 2 environment, which aids coordination and helps reduce waste.

SUSTAINABILITY
Ultimately, sustainable design is fundamental to all of the service we offer hence it is a key component to Tisserin Engineers. We focus on people, this means designing the best sustainable option possible for each project, while creating a structural efficiency and value for money.
As most of our projects are delivered using 3D modelling software such as Revit, we able to estimate and manage the ongoing carbon within our structures, giving our clients the tools to make appropriate decisions for their projects.
STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING
As the core offering to our business, we can provide structural engineering design services for the built environment clients from, conceptual stage right through to construction phase. We have experience working with both public sector and private sector clients on a range of new builds and existing buildings.
TIMBER ENGINEERING + OFFSITE STRUCTURES
In addition to general structural engineering, we have an expertise in timber structures, hybrid structures and offsite structures, typically providing detailed design for specialist sub contractors. This includes detail design of timber connections, including engineered timbers such as cross laminated timber (CLT), glulam, LVL, and traditional timber frame. We also offer modular construction design, fabricated steel design and timber fabrication drawings.
SUSTAINABLE UNDERGROUND DRAINAGE (SUDS) + CIVIL ENGINEERING
Managing and making efficient use of water is key to maintaining a sustainable focus. We provide underground drainage and sub base design for planning and for construction.
